I wish I was in with the in crowd so I didn’t have to think so much.
Could just regurgitate the headlines and pat each others backs.
And never feel lonely or out of touch.

There’s so many different lives I’d like to lead.
There’s so many different places that I’d like to see.
On an endless horizon of possibilities.
In all of them, I would be anyone else but me.

I wish I was happy and ignorant instead of miserable but clueless all the same.
Wish I believed all of the lies that I saw in the news.
And I could kick my feet up and enjoy the game.
